S’mores and Hard Work (week 59)

Talofa Lava

Sister Nai is such a great companion and I am so lucky to have her to help my missionary fire burn!  We worked so hard this week and it felt good to hit the ground running.  Even though we didn’t see as much success as we would have liked, it felt good to work hard and I know that is the true success as a missionary.

It is super cool having a foreign companion!  It’s really interesting to hear about what Australia is like and to watch people freak out (in a good way) over her cool accent, although this week we taught a spanish guy that had no idea what she was saying!  haha!  This week I showed her how to make her first s’more and she loved it!  I think she has made one every day since!  haha!

This week I was also able to go on exchanges with Sister Da Silva.  She is so cool and I learned a lot from her.  It was a pretty fun day and we were able to get a lot done, including picking up a new investigator.  It was a very interesting experience because she told us how her daughter was murdered by a crazy guy. I told her that she could be with her family forever and that she can really know that for herself through praying about it to our Father in Heaven.  We are going back to see her on Wednesday.

Anyways, I hope ya’ll have a great week!

Love, Sister Meza
