Training in Jurupa! (week 68)

This week was crazy!  We had a good lesson with one of our investigators, Mirna, who is struggling raising her teenage boys.  One of them doesn’t have a belief in God and it really hurts her.  We were able to take some other members up with us who she totally clicked with which is always awesome!  She is ready for us to come teach her whole family about the Restoration.  She read the Book of Mormon and thought it was amazing.  We will be teaching her whole family  next week!  She wasn’t very interested when we started teaching and the spirit helped her want to know that the message we share is true.  It is amazing how much love God has for his children and how much he leads those that are prepared for the gospel.

We are very close with the other sisters serving in our zone, Sister Banks and Sister Da Silva — they serve with the Eastvale Ward.  This week Sister Banks got really sick.  Sister Blanchard stayed in with her for three days while Sister Da Silva and I went to work.  It was Sister Da Silva’s last week in the mission and it was cool to learn from her!  She is a great missionary!

This week we did a foot cleanse with our home share, Mama B.  It was gross because the color of the water was from all the toxins in our body.  According to the color of it, Sister Blanchard and I had it all come from our liver.  :/

Oh yea, and transfers just happened and I am training a new missionary in Jurupa!  Sister Blanchard will also be my companion so we will be in a trio!  I am so excited to finally be in a trio!  I will be picking up my new companion tomorrow.

Hope you all have the best week!

Love, Sister Meza
